In the only playoff action for the farm system today, Brandon Waddell and two relievers threw a two-hit shutout as Morgantown took the deciding game of its series with Williamsport, 4-0, to advance to the New York-Penn League finals. No stranger to playoff action, Waddell allowed only two hits and a walk over six innings. He fanned six. Cesilio Pimentel followed with two scoreless innings, striking out three. Julio Eusebio made things interesting by walking two in the 9th, but got through the inning. The Black Bears had to make do with four hits, all singles, three of them by Mitchell Tolman.
