— Brandon Waddell had an oustanding start as Indianapolis (49-40) shut out Toledo, 8-0. Waddell has mostly struggled since his promotion to AAA, but in this one he gave up just two hits and a walk over seven innings, while fanning nine. Jesus Liranzo and Dovydas Neverauskas each threw a scoreless inning to finish it out. Pablo Reyes hit his fourth AAA home run with two on board and Sean Rodriguez, playing second, hit his second homer in AAA and walked twice. Kevin Kramer and Jason Martin each went 2-4 with a double. Kramer is batting 280/342/480 and Martin is hitting 302/318/488 since his promotion.
