Jameson Taillon did what he needed to do to put the Pirates in a position to win Wednesday afternoon’s matchup against the White Sox. Taillon had a no decision but only gave up two runs (both solo shots) over 5.2 innings. Pirates pushed the go-ahead run across in the 7th inning, earning Edgar Santana his first win of the season. Feliz and Vazquez shut the door while throwing a scoreless 8th and 9th, resulting in a 3-2 Pirates victory.
