The Pittsburgh Pirates are going to have a familiar face on the mound for Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

On The Dan Patrick Show, it was announced that Paul Skenes will be the starting pitcher for the National League in Tuesday’s Midsummer Classic.

Skenes, 22, became the first player to ever become an All-Star a year after he was drafted. Now, he becomes the first starter to accomplish the feat.

The move comes after Skenes pitched seven no-hit innings yesterday against the Milwaukee Brewers, easily his best start of the year.

Despite not debuting until May 11, Skenes has taken the league by storm with a 6-0 record and a 1.
