The Altoona Curve announced that left-handed pitcher Brandon Waddell has been placed on the 7-day disabled list with a left forearm strain. Waddell pitched four innings in his season debut on April 8th, then he was a late scratch from his next scheduled start five days later. We were originally told that he was out with shoulder soreness, but he was expected to make his next start, which would have been tomorrow night. The disabled list move has been made retroactive to April 14th, so he is available to come off the DL on April 21st. We will try to get an update on his condition later tonight.
