The Penguins were without Teddy Blueger for much of their 3-2 shootout win over the Jets on Sunday at PPG Paints Arena.
Blueger left the game with 11:03 remaining in the first period after he was hit up high by Jets defenseman Brenden Dillon.
Blueger fell to the ice in pain after the hit, and was spitting blood on his way back to the locker room.
Blood warning in this clip of the injury:
When Mike Sullivan was asked for his thoughts on the hit from Dillon, he kept his assessment brief.
