The Miller Park struggles are still real, and they are still spectacular.
Nothing particularly weird or crazy about this one…just your typical frustration in Milwaukee…and really badly timed, as the Pirates limp in to St Louis with their first four game losing streak since May. It’s probably fair to say that they need a sweep to stay in the hunt, and right now it’s a lot easier to envision things going the other way.
It can change at any time, of course, but right now things just aren’t breaking right for the Pirates, and then once they get into a hole, they’ve been wilting.
