ST. LOUIS -- On Saturday, in just his first start since coming off the 10-day disabled list on Friday, Adam Frazier blasted an inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning to give the Pirates a 3-2 lead over the Cardinals.
The fly ball went to deep center field, hitting off the top of the wall. Outfielder Dexter Fowler was hurt trying to make the catch as he hit into the wall. The Cardinals were unable to make the throw back into the infield before Frazier raced across home plate.
The homer was Frazier's fifth of the year.
