Aramis Ramirez has begun to prepare to play first base if need be in the near future. The 18 year vet, who has played his entire career at third base was seen taking grounders during pregame tonight, and acknowledged that he will be working on the transition over the weekend.
In an interview with Root Sports, Ramirez said that upon being traded he was happy to do anything that the team asked him to do, in order to win. "This is the only thing missing, I've accomplished everything personally", he said.
Obviously, the position has been a real problem for the Buccos this season.
