The Pirates’ top remaining minor league pitching prospect Mitch Keller (5-0, 3.45) allowed one run in seven innings, scattering six hits and a walk, as Indianapolis (23-18) won 4-3 at Louisville (18-26). He fanned six while throwing 66 of 95 pitches for strikes (69%)
Lefty reliever Jake Brentz (1.50 ERA in 18 IP) did his best to give the game away in the bottom of ninth, but managed to be awarded a save despite allowing two runs on four hits and a walk in the inning.
