23 year old Colombian right-hander Luis Escobar (1.30 ERA in 27 2⁄3 IP), who started the year in Bradenton’s bullpen but has now made three starts in five appearances with Indianapolis, gave up only one run in five inning, on three hits and two walks while fanning six. For the season he’s averaging 10.7 K/9.
