The system split while Chris Sharpe banged out three hits for victorious Greensboro.
Triple-A
Mitch Keller (5-1, 3.40), returned to Triple-A after making his major debut in Cincinnati, dropped his first decision for the Indians despite pitching well, allowing two runs in six innings on three hits and two walks while fanning five.
Gwinnett scored both runs and all their hits off Keller in the third when Luis Marte led off with a line single to right and one out later went to third on Rafael Ortega’s line single to center. After Andres Blanco’s grounder scored Marte and advanced Ortega to second, Adam Duvall lined another single to center to score Ortega.
