Neal Huntington acknowledged reality and assumed blame Sunday for the Pirates’ spot in the standings and conceded the possibility of trading away players.
“This is on me. This is a club I put together,” Huntington said before the Pirates’ 4-1 victory against the Philadelphia Phillies at PNC Park Sunday. “This is a club our staff put together. I believe in our coaches. I believe in the message they’re giving, the information they’re giving to our players. But we’re where we are. It’s real.”
