SAN FRANCISCO -- Colin Holderman could breathe a little easier after getting his fourth and final out at Oracle Park Tuesday night. Those final three outs were in good hands.
"My job's just trying to get it to him, because we know it's lights out when he gets into the game," Holderman was telling me about the team's All-Star closer, David Bednar.
Bednar lived up to his set-up man's billing, striking out Patrick Bailey and Brett Wisely with near identical fastballs up in the zone to start the bottom of the ninth:
