Glendale was riding a four-game losing streak going into Monday. They played on the road in Peoria today. The lineup didn't have any Pittsburgh Pirates in it, but JT Brubaker came out of the bullpen in the fourth inning with his team already down 5-1. Brandon Waddell would also make an appearance, as Glendale lost 14-7.
Brubaker started his outing with a ground out, then got another grounder to shortstop, which ended up being an infield hit. After a throwing error on a pick-off by Brubaker, he gave up an RBI double. He got out of the inning with a swinging strikeout and a grounder back to the mound.
