Adam Frazier Lifts Pittsburgh Pirates To Victory

After the Pittsburgh Pirates 18-5, 23-hit drubbing of the Cubs on Monday, they followed that up with a 5-1 win late Wednesday night. The Pirates now improve to 41-43 on the season and now stand 4.0 games back of the first place Milwaukee Brewers. They have also pulled to within 2.5 games of the second National League Wild Card spot.

In the bottom of the first, second baseman Adam Frazier started things off with a lead off single and later scored in the inning on a sac fly from who other than Josh Bell to give the Bucs the early 1-0 lead.
