Wednesday, we will learn the members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2017. Thanks to the hard work of Ryan Thibodaux, we have a sneak preview of the results.
Thibodaux tracks ballots made public by Hall of Fame voters, comprised of those in the Baseball Writers Association of America who have been a member for at least 10 consecutive years. As of Monday, three players — Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines and Ivan Rodriguez — were on pace for election.
Bagwell, who was named on 71.6 percent of ballots a year ago, was included on 88.
