COLUMBUS, Ohio — Zach Aston-Reese has three goals in his past three games and nearly had a fourth until a scoring change took it away. He has found a spot on Sidney Crosby’s left wing, which has seemingly had no intentions of letting go.
Funny that’s where Aston-Reese is at now because the beginning of the season wasn’t that way for him. A funky wisdom tooth that caused considerable pain was one thing, but Aston-Reese’s slow start in Wilkes-Barre was also attributable to a slow adjustment to the pro game.
“It took me a bit to figure it out,” Aston-Reese said.
