It turns out that the Penguins won’t be the only Pittsburgh-affiliated hockey team wearing “Pittsburgh gold” coming up. We saw on Tuesday that the Penguins released their new third jerseys for the upcoming season.
Wednesday night, the Wheeling Nailers, the Penguins ECHL affiliate, dropped some photos showing off the new threads of their own.
Personally, I am a huge fan of these. I wish the logo were a little but bigger itself, but how can you not LOVE the goalie mask in the center of it in black and gold? It looks beyond incredible.
