While Washington DC, Baltimore, and the surrounding areas were getting blasted by a winter storm, the WBS Penguins were fortunate enough to find themselves in the New England states this past weekend for three games in three days. The first two games were in Portland against a raging hot Pirates team that had won 13 of its previous 16 games and goaltender Mike McKenna, who had won his previous 12 starts coming into this weekend’s games; the third was an afternoon engagement in Providence against a Bruins team hanging in the middle of the Atlantic Division.
