WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17: Hershey 3, WBS 2
With Matt Murray’s return to health confirmed, Pittsburgh sent Tristan Jarry back to WBS on Monday, October 15, taking back Derek Grant in the process. Much to the consternation of some in the WBS fanbase, Jarry was immediately slotted back into the starting net for Wednesday’s contest against Hershey. The move made sense, if you consider Pittsburgh’s goal of ensuring Jarry getting a starter’s workload, but you can’t help but feel for Anthony Peters, who saw a 3-0 record, a sub-1 GAA, and a save percentage nearing 97% relegated to the backup role.
