This time of year when the playoffs take over the televisions and all of the games are being featured on national television across NBC Universal’s network, the ratings start to trickle in and much can be made of how well or how poorly certain markets are doing.
This playoff was set to be an interesting one from the start with the Blackhawks and Rangers eliminated, that’s two strong markets off the bat that weren’t in to pull up the ratings.
Pittsburgh, however, came in strong after the first 5 days of play, ranking as the best market in the country.
