Subban sticks by halitosis story

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Everyone loves a nice distraction. We have P.K. Subban to thank for the Stanley Cup final’s best yet.

The Nashville Predators’ All-Star defenseman, the morning after saying Sidney Crosby ripped on his bad breath during a run-in at the end of Game 3, doubled down on what seemed to be, from the start, a corny joke. Crosby, of course, says it was fiction.

“Usually when guys chirp after a game or during a game, it’s usually about your game or something personal. But he went on to tell me that my breath smelled bad,” Subban said on Saturday night.
