Steelers legend Harris dead at 72

Franco Harris, the Hall of Fame Steelers running back and the author of one of the most iconic plays in Pittsburgh sports history, the Immaculate Reception, has died. He was 72.

His death comes just two days shy of the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception.

Harris was set to be honored and have his No. 32 retired Saturday night whenever the Steelers take on the Raiders.

Much more to come.
