The starting time of the Penguins’ Sunday, April 3 home game against the Philadelphia Flyers has been changed to 5 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 3 p.m., but the Penguins requested a change because of a conflict with the Pittsburgh Pirates’ season opener.
The Pirates will open their season on April 3 at 1 p.m.
“We want to thank the Flyers and the NHL for accommodating this request,” said Travis Williams, Chief Operating Officer of the Penguins. “Pittsburgh sports fans like to support all of our teams, and this will allow us to avoid a conflict with the Pirates’ opener.
