External questions about Canada's job security surrounded the team throughout the 2022 season, especially during the first half of the year when the offense was near the bottom of the league in virtually every statistical category.
However, the offense operated much more efficiently during the second half of the season, including 146.0 rushing yards per game. That coincided with a 7-2 finish that had the Steelers fighting for playoff contention in the final week of the season.
