Los Angeles – Scoring chances in the NHL can be subjective. What a particular Western Conference team believes constitutes one could be not necessarily have the same meaning in the East.
Here, though, is something all 30 teams would agree on: If you don't generate shots on goal, you aren't going to generate very many scoring chances.
