The Penguins and Sharks are scheduled to start Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final at 8:20 p.m. tonight at Consol Energy Center.
The Penguins are looking to take a 2-0 series lead after their 3-2 win in Game 1 Monday night, while the Sharks hope to even the series before it shifts to San Jose for Game 3 Saturday.
Both teams face lineup questions heading into Game 2, as Bryan Rust is a “game-time decision” after sustaining an apparent head injury on a hit from Sharks winger Patrick Marleau in Game 1.
Rust took part in the Penguins’ morning skate, but coach Mike Sullivan was non-committal about Rust’s playing status.
