Despite trailing the Penguins, 3-1, in the Stanley Cup final and a decisive Game 5 at Consol Energy Center looming, the San Jose Sharks haven’t lost their jovial spirit.
Practice Wednesday at Consol was full of smiles as well as cheers and jeers for teammates when they missed shots or made great saves.
“Yeah, I mean, this group’s like that every day all year,” coach Peter DeBoer said, on the eve of Thursday 8 p.m. faceoff a day before his squad faces “I’m glad that I saw that today. You’re never sure, considering the circumstances. I would have been worried had they come in quiet or dragging a little.
