Sean Couturier a 'game-time decision' for Game 4 against Penguins

PHILADELPHIA — Sean Couturier is Philadelphia’s No. 1 center and likely its most important forward.

That much is clear.

Far less certain is whether he’ll play in the Flyers’ most important game so far this season: Game 4 of their opening-round playoff series against the Penguins at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Fargo Center.

Philadelphia coach Dave Hakstol today labeled Couturier, who was injured in a collision with teammate Radko Gudas during practice Tuesday, a “game-time decision.”

Couturier did not participate in the Flyers’ game-day skate. Neither did linemate Jakub Voracek, who presumably is healthy and watched part of the workout from the team bench.
