Ron Cook: Penguins will put a stop to Lightning's party

The Tampa Bay Lightning had great fun Friday night at the Penguins’ expense. Pest Brian Boyle actually laughed in Kris Letang’s face. It happened in the second period when Letang’s thoughtless temper tantrum played a big part in a 4-3, series-tying loss in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final. Letang fired the puck at Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin when he only needed to touch it after a delayed hooking penalty on teammate Matt Cullen, cross-checked Alex Killorn from behind after the whistle and looked as if he wanted to gouge Boyle’s eyes out in the subsequent scrum. Boyle kept smiling at Letang — yes, laughed at him — as a linesman separated them.
