Ron Cook: Matt Murray quickly is on his way to being one of the great NHL postseason goaltenders

PHILADELPHIA — You know what they say about opinions, right? They are like noses. Everybody has one.

It’s surprising to me that a lot of people in our hockey-crazed, Stanley Cup-crazed city still wish the Penguins had kept Marc-Andre Fleury instead of Matt Murray as their franchise goaltender. There is nothing really wrong with that thinking, I guess. You might have heard Fleury has taken on Sinatra-like status in Las Vegas this spring after leading the expansion Golden Knights to 1-0 and 2-1 first-round playoff wins against the Los Angeles Kings by stopping 59 of 60 shots. I get it.
