Rally for Penguins in Market Square on Tuesday

The city and county will be holding a rally Tuesday, hoping all of its positive vibes and good mojo will help the Penguins finish off the Washington Capitals in their best-of-seven series.

The Penguins are holding onto a 3-2 lead in the series going into Tuesday’s game at Consol Energy Center.

To cheer on the team, Mayor Bill Peduto, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, iHeartMedia and the Penguins will host a rally at 11:15 a.m. in Market Square.

Included in the festivities will be a prize wheel and giveaways of a limited amount of Penguins gold rush T-shirts and rally towels.
