A few days ago, some segments of the Penguins’ fan base probably were wondering if Jake Guentzel would ever score again.
Now, those same people might be wondering if he’ll ever stop.
Guentzel scored two goals, including the one that put the Penguins in front to stay 10 seconds into the third period, in their 4-1 victory in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final Wednesday night at PPG Paints Arena.
That pushed his league-leading totals of goals to 12, and game-winners to five, which is the most ever by a rookie in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
