Pittsburgh Penguins Take 2-0 Lead Over Columbus Blue Jackets, But Don’t Get Too Comfortable

In a high-tempo, emotion-filled game, the Pittsburgh Penguins came out ready to play. Coming in with a 1-0 series lead, the boys were looking to get a good hold on Columbus in the series, and that’s exactly what they did.

Here’s a look at some of the game’s highlights,

First Period

The game started off quick right off the bat with a lot of great action on both ends of the ice. Early in the frame Columbus piled the shots on, but Marc-Andre Fleury made some impressive saves to keep it scoreless.

Nearly halfway through the period, Conor Sheary made a great chase for the puck in the offensive zone, beating Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to the puck.
