The NHL announced the first home game for every team for next season. For the Pittsburgh Penguins it will be on Thursday October 3rd, where the Pens will see Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres at PPG Paints Arena to kick off the 2019-20 season.
That sounds pretty good as Pittsburgh usually has had a lot of success over the years against Buffalo, but then again the Sabres did start pretty strong last season.
And we also know that while Phil Kessel might not want to play full-time in Minnesota, if he’s still with the Pens for the season he will see the Wild fans soon, because the Pens make their one and only trip of the season to Minnesota on Saturday October 12th as their home opener.
