It’s time to write my final grading article of Craig Adams‘ career with the Pittsburgh Penguins. And, I’m sure we can all be appreciative of that fact.

In sports, there comes a time when you simply aren’t effective anymore. There comes a time when either you or the organization that employs you has to say enough is enough. That time for Adams occurred a few years ago, but neither party spoke up.
This past season saw Adams record 7 points (1g, 6a) in 70 games played. The 38-year old fourth line winger found himself scratched when the Pens were healthy enough to field a full lineup without him down the stretch.
