According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the club announced that Matt Murray will be ready to play against the Detroit Red wings on Sunday.
Murray had sustained an upper-body injury during Wednesday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He was initially ruled out to miss a couple of games. After missing Friday’s 2-1 loss against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Penguins got the news that Murray will be able to play.

The addition of Matt Murray is great news for us. Tristan Jerry is becoming an exceptional backup goalie and starter in his own right, but nobody can replace Matt Murray right now.
