The Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation announced Friday that they will be distributing activity booklets at meal distribution sites around the city next week.
The activity booklets are designed to help as educational tools for children with limited technology resources. The booklets feature science, math and arts activities and can be done within the home.
The booklets will be available on August 17 and August 24 at the following locations:
- Ammon Rec Center: 2217 Bedford Avenue
- Arlington Rec Center: 2201 Salisbury Street
- Jefferson Rec Center: 605 Redknap Street
- Magee Rec Center: 745 Greenfield Avenue
- Moore Park: 1801 Pioneer Avenue
- Paulson Rec Center: 1201 Paulson Street
- Warrington Rec Center: 329 Warrington Avenue
- Salvation Army Homewood: 8020 Frankstown Avenue
- Salvation Army Westside: 1821 Broadhead-Fording Road
