In a matter of weeks, the Pittsburgh Penguins will officially open training camp which marks the start of the 2015-16 NHL season. This camp will be particularly important due to new names in the organization and the few spots up for grabs by prospects.

The Pens drafted dynamic forward Daniel Sprong with their second round selection in this summer’s draft. Though it’s highly unlikely that he’ll prove ready for NHL action, it’ll be interesting to see how he stacks up at this level. Also, what about players like Conor Sheary, Bryan Rust and Oskar Sundqvist?
