Kenny Pickett was taken out of Sunday's game against the Ravens and is in the concussion protocol, the team announced.
Pickett was sacked by linebacker Roquan Smith to end the Steelers' first drive, appearing to take a shot to the head in the process. After being checked out in the blue tent, Pickett returned for the following drive but was removed from the game shortly after.
Mitch Trubisky is taking over as the Steelers' quarterback.
