The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Tom Sestito from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Sestito played in two games with Pittsburgh last month, recording two penalty minutes during his first stint with the team.
This season, Sestito has appeared in 41 games with WBS, totaling 14 points (5G-9A) and 104 penalty minutes.
Conor Sheary took a high-stick last game and may not be able to play tonight.
Sestito is an uninspiring player to see at this time of year, but I suspect it will be much ado about nothing- Sestito has only averaged 4:30 in the 2 games he's played in the NHL.
