It was bleak for the Pittsburgh Penguins after 20 minutes against the Tampa Bay Lightning last night, trailing 2-0 and looking overmatched on the ice. That’s when Sidney Crosby stepped in with his 14th of the season to give the Penguins life before Drew O’Connor brought the game back level before intermission. Jeff Carter (!) gave the Penguins their first lead of the night less than three minutes into the third period and Tristan Jarry (!!) sealed the deal with an empty netter for his first career goal. Pens Points...
Not only was Tristan Jarry a rock in goal on Thursday night, he helped his own cause by scoring the first goalie in goal in Penguins history to seal the win.
