Pascal Dupuis will return to the lineup tonight against the Montreal Canadiens after a precautionary hospitalization over the weekend to rule out any problems related to his blood clot history.
“He’s back. Everything’s fine,” coach Mike Johnston said this morning.
Dupuis had expected to be cleared for tonight’s game at the Consol Energy Center after speaking to reporters following Monday’s practice. He called his trip to the hospital in Edmonton precautionary and declined to share the specific symptoms that prompted the trip. He did say something happened regarding his leg that the training staff and team doctors agreed should be checked out.
