ALTOONA, Pa. -- Ta'Quan Roberson has been at Penn State for three years, and has been the backup quarterback all this season. Christian Veilleux has been there 10 months, and has never taken the field in a game.
Roberson got 90 percent of the second-team reps in preseason camp. It was obvious to the coaches that he was way ahead of Veilleux then.
Roberson has played mop-up duty a couple of times this season, then was forced into action in the loss at Iowa after Sean Clifford got hurt.
