Penguins left winger Conor Sheary is the NHL's No. 1 star for the week that ended Sunday.
He scored two goals three times in four games between Jan. 16 and Sunday and chipped in three assists.
Sheary has eight goals in January, tying New York Islanders center John Tavares for the league lead this month.
New York Islanders goalie Thomas Greiss, a former Penguins player, and Washington forward T.J. Oshie were named the league's second and third stars, respectively.
