According to CapFriendly.com, the Pens presently have a cap hit of $64,620,000, with $10,380,000 in available cap space. However, they don’t include Jake Guentzel and Carter Rowney—still technically on two-way contracts.
Factor in Guentzel and Rowney? We have $9,630,000 of available cap space by my unofficial tally, roughly the same figure recently published in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
