WASHINGTON — With an off night Tuesday in our nation’s capital, Penguins players probably did not click on CSN Washington to watch the Capitals lose, 2-1, in Columbus.
There was no need, for one, considering tonight marks the 13th meeting, playoffs included, between these two teams since the start of last season. Also considering how contentious some of those games have been, and it would be hard to blame the Penguins if they opted for a museum tour and a trip to Adams Morgan instead.
Not needing, or wanting, to watch their upcoming opponent is about to become the Penguins’ new normal.
