The Penguins have signed goaltender Sean Maguire to a two-year, entry level deal.
Maguire was a fourth-round draft pick by the Penguins in 2012, and 113th overall. He recently completed his senior season at Boston University, going 13-9-1 with a 2.41 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage and two shutouts.
Maguire, 6-foot-2, 202 pounds, has been sent to join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on an amateur tryout.
He is the seventh member of the 2012 draft class now under contract with Pittsburgh.
