Penguins Sign Forward Thomas DiPauli to a Two-Year Contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Thomas DiPauli to a two-year, entry-level contract, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

DiPauli was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in the fourth round (100th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft at CONSOL Energy Center. He became a free agent earlier this week.

DiPauli, 22, played in all 37 games of the 2015-16 season with the University of Notre Dame, scoring a career-high 14 goals and 18 assists for a career-high 32 points. DiPauli served as alternate captain for the Fighting Irish, finishing the season with a plus-13.
